                      SAFCOL, Snappy Tom
             
    Being a processor of ‘human consumption” seafood, Safcol originally dispensed with tuna offcuts as an inexpensive pet food by-product. Once it was realised that a valuable opportunity existed to compete in the cat food market, we were briefed to develop a brand. The character of Snappy Tom was created in Disneyesque style and the varieties were expressed in a strong colour palette. Snappy Tom became the most profitable pet food brand in Australia.
